Becoming a microequine
In order for an equine to be called a microequine and to obtain an official certificate, it is necessary that:
- That both parents measure 71 cm and less (27,95 inch). Both parents must have a pedigree from a recognized Stud book, where they have been measured officially and definitively but not before the age of 2 and a half (for stallions) and 3 years (for mares) and the height must be mentioned in the pedigree.
- In addition to the size, it is necessary that the subject corresponds to the criteria of microequine (standard).
