Becoming a microequine

In order for an equine to be called a microequine and to obtain an official certificate, it is necessary that:

  1. That both parents measure 71 cm and less (27,95 inch). Both parents must have a pedigree from a recognized Stud book, where they have been measured officially and definitively but not before the age of 2 and a half (for stallions) and 3 years (for mares) and the height must be mentioned in the pedigree.
  2. In addition to the size, it is necessary that the subject corresponds to the criteria of microequine (standard).
