Becoming a microequine

At the purchase, the microequine is delivered with a provisional certificate issued by the ASBL Microequines Worldwide and signed by the president of the organization. Then, after having been accepted and measured by its respective Stud book (but not before the age of 2.5 years for a stallion or 3 years for a mare), this equine will obtain its definitive certificate of microequine. For countries, where there is no approved and recognized Stud book for small equines, a veterinary certificate will be required to prove the required size and conformity to the microequine standard.
