Our microdonkeys

The size of the common donkey is variable and allows to categorize the subjects:

• the great donkeys measure more than 1,30 m (51,2 inch) at the withers, going up to 1,60 m (63 inch)
• the medium size donkeys have a size between 1,10 m (43,3 inch) -1,30 m (51,2 inch)
• the small donkeys measure between 90 cm (35,4 inch) – 1,10 m (43,3 inch)

Beware! Most breeders use the name miniature for a donkey of less than 90 cm (35,4 inch), which is only 20 cm (7,9 inch) less than an ordinary donkey. However, the size of our donkeys is between 60 cm (23,6 inch) – 70 cm (27,6 inch) at the withers! The adult microdonkey has the size of a baby of an ordinary donkey.
